Our pepper products are 100% certified Sarawak Origin, and originates from Malaysia. White peppercorns is known as ‘Lada Putih’ in Malay and ‘ 白胡椒’ in Chinese. White peppercorns and black peppercorns both begin as the same berry on the same pepper plant. Yep, that’s right! They’re a fruit! However, the processing of the peppercorns is different. To produce white peppercorns, this outer layer is removed before or after drying, leaving only the inner seed. The taste of white pepper is brighter, sharper, more herbaceous but is less complex with fewer flavor notes than black pepper. White pepper powder has the advantage of the more aesthetically pleasing result.

White pepper is often used in dishes that need a peppery bite but where you don't want black flecks, In Chinese cuisine, ground white pepper is used to add flavor to soups, marinades for meat and poultry, and spicier stir-fries. What’s more surprising is that white pepper has very few calories and adds a lot of flavor to a dish, which may enable to you cut back on salt.
