Description
The unique aroma and flavor of HEXA Szechuan Peppercorn (‘Lada Sichuan’ in Malay and ‘四川花椒’ in Chinese) make it a must-have spice in your kitchen and your dishes. It is not too hot, instead, it has slight lemony overtones and creates a tingly, pleasant numbness in your mouth. A spice indigenous to China, Szechuan peppercorns aren’t actually pepper but are ground husks of dried red-brown berries of the prickly ash tree. Add it as a seasoning to noodles, chicken, tofu, sauces, and soups especially used in Mala Hot Pot—a dish popular in China, and among the Chinese in Malaysia—and it will leave your mouth 'singing' with a hint of acid sweetness. Interestingly, "Ma" means numb, and "la" means spices.
Sichuan Mala Rempah is an acquired taste that fits the 'sensitive' palates of people who cannot consume foods that are too spicy. Besides having this 'numbing' spicy goodness, it is an exciting taste sensation that one can easily adapt to. Do be wary though of bad quality items, as the Malaysian market is flooded with products mixed with other materials. Suggested Use
Mix 2 tbsp of HEXA Sichuan Mala Rempah with 2 tbsp of oil and make a paste. Rub the paste all over the chicken (500g). Leave it in the fridge for 1-2hrs. Drop the chicken pieces in a frying pan over medium-high heat for about 10-15 mins until golden and crisp (use your discretion- smaller pieces will cook faster). This fried chicken is super crispy, crunchy, juicy, with a nice aroma and spiciness.
If you are health concerned, you can cook the chicken in the oven or simply grill it. This recipe is one of Hexa's best. If you don't believe me try it out!!!!

Campurkan 2 sudu besar HEXA Sichuan Mala Rempah dengan 2 sudu minyak dan buat pes. Gaul pes sehingga sebati (500g). Biarkan di dalam peti sejuk selama 1-2jam. Masukkan ketulan ayam dalam kuali di atas api yang sederhana selama kira-kira 10-15 minit sehingga warna keemasan (kepingan yang lebih kecil akan masak lebih cepat). Ayam goreng ini adalah super crunchy, crispy, juicy dengan aroma yang menyelerakan.

Hexa Fitplus, I really like the taste and the texture because there are berries inside, it's a good choice for my breakfast.
I think Hexa Rempah Kebab is convenient because we don't have to add so much seasoning powder ourselves. Like just one bottle is enough and it tastes really authentic, suitable for people who rarely cook or working class who wants a quick and easy meal.
Tepung dia memang sedap. Tak kisah laa guna method tepung-telur-tepung atau bancuh tepung, celup ayam then salut tepung kering atau terus salut tepung kering atau bancuh tepung mcm bater, celup ayam then terus goreng. Mana mana method pun, ayam tetap garing diluar juicy didalam. Dan rasa tepung tu sedikit masin tapi sedap.

Firstime saya letak salted egg powder dalam dumpling, rasa agak creamy tapi tak muak. if dalam isi tak letak garam maybe boleh masukkan dlm 2 sudu salted egg powder tu utk perasakan filling. Rempah Sichuan Mala saya tambah utk bagi rasa pedas kebas sikit sebab dumpling filling yg tak pedas mana best kan? overall its a good match
